Sometimes shifting into park and then to reverse will fix problem. I have #4 tapped on the ground located there too. Pulling off the access door on your tailgate and tracing the wire to the connector on the camera will give you definitive proof of whether or not your camera’s wiring is at fault. Then the #8/#16 into the camera at the back.

Connector c 210.left side of the instrument panel. I have noticed that many times (not always) i can open the back hatch, forcefully slam it shut and then the camera output to my command works fine. There two other connectors in the passenger side. #9 is tapped into the reverse power along the drivers side floor as well (believe it's a black/pink). Even if the camera leads are wrong, i still should get a blue screen in the mirror, but when i hit it in reverse, nothing happens. All fuses and connections are good. This problem.
